Kenpo Karate

Hi All,
A few things going on at our school.  First of all, we have at on of new kids joining our class and they're doing a great job.  We love teaching the kids.  It's great to see some come out of their shells, like Sierra, and others start to get greater leadership abilities, like Amari.
In the adult class, we've been working on increasing the effectiveness of our orange belt techniques, specifically, that I've been working on with my instructor.
Ron has been a great asset to the school and we always enjoy when his brother Rich (a fourth degree black belt) is able to attend as well.  Aron also is able to come at least once a week and he has a wonderful perspective (and really long legs.)
Michael has joined us and Greg, recently promoted to yellow belt,  has continued and both are a lot of fun to have in class.  Chad and his brother Kirk have made it to yellow and are working hard on their kenpo.
We have two new students, Alicia and Rachelle, who just got their uniforms and are doing great.  It's nice to have some female students back in class.
Bryan is doing a great job on his twist stances and we look forward to promoting him to second brown in the near future.
We also look forward to having Eugene come back to class, once work allows for it, as well as having Robert re-join us when his wrist heals.  (We didn't do it!)
I had another great lesson with Dave Crouch, my instructor, and we look forward to having him come up our way again in the near future.  I always learn a ton from Dr. Dave.
Ron and I plan to attend the Wonder Valley Camp in May, hosted by Graham Lelliott.  It's going to be a fabulous kenpo weekend. (www.glkenpo.com)
Oh, and Lee Wedlake has a new book out called 'Lessons with Ed Parker.'  It's available through www.leewedlake.com.  Great book!
